The Wilderness Society (TWS) was established in 1976 and is the leading grassroots environmental advocacy organisation in Australia. We have new vision to transform society into one that respects, connects and protects nature. TWS began campaigning to protect the Kimberley over 25 years ago, and continues to advocate for the protection of the region's stunning coastline, mighty rivers and ancient heritage.
