We work both as advocates on a wide range of significant issues in the Kimberley, as well as through practical programs focused on natural resource management and community environmental education. |

Conservation Council of WAThe Conservation Council is State's main non-government advocacy organisation for environmental protection in Western Australia and is the State representative for a range of conservation groups who are active in protecting the natural environment and sustainability in WA. The Council engages regularly with federal, state & local Government to promote to promote positive change to legislation and policy, campaign to change community attitudes on environmental issues and assist conservation groups or projects to gain access to resources. |

Pew Environment Group-AustraliaThe Pew Environment Group, the environmental arm of the Pew Charitable Trusts, addresses environmental issues around the globe with major emphases on climate change, protecting life in the sea, and preserving wilderness and habitat. Individual projects, many of them conducted in partnership with other organizations, are located in Canada, throughout the United States, the European Union, Australia and New Zealand, and several potential marine sanctuaries in the Pacific Ocean. Pew Environment Group-Australia, and The Nature Conservancy pledged in 2006 to jointly develop the Wild Australia Program, an ambitious, multi-year effort to identify and protect large landscapes and seascapes in remote parts of Australia |

WDCSEstablished in 1987, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, WDCS, is the world's most active charity dedicated to the conservation and welfare of all whales, dolphins and porpoises (also known as cetaceans). WDCS Australasia implements many of WDCS's international policy programs in our region. We work with governments, policy makers, researchers and other conservation organizations to create a safer environment for the whales and dolphins that inhabit the waters around our shores. The Wilderness SocietyThe Wilderness Society (TWS) is a national, community-based, environmental advocacy organisation whose purpose is to protect, promote and restore wilderness and natural processes across Australia for the survival and ongoing evolution of life on Earth. TWS works through the avenues of public education and empowerment, advocacy and negotiation, and desk and field research. TWS is politically unaligned, but uses democratic processes to maximise wise conservation decisions. TWS supports indigenous people's land and sea rights, and is committed to proper and detailed consultation with affected indigenous people before and during campaigns to protect wilderness and biological diversity. Established in 1976, TWS is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation. The vast majority of our funding is obtained from membership dues, donations, public fundraising and our retail operations.
